The Buggy Barn Return and Cancellation Policy

Effective Date: 08/01/2026

This Return and Cancellation Policy applies to purchases made from The Buggy Barn LLC (“The Buggy Barn,” “we,” “us,” or “our”). By placing an order, the purchaser (“Customer”) agrees to the terms stated below.

1. Order Cancellations

An order may be cancelled for a full refund at any time before the order has shipped.

Once an order has shipped, it is no longer eligible for cancellation and must be handled in accordance with the return provisions of this Policy.

Approved cancellation refunds will be issued to the original payment method. The Buggy Barn will not deduct payment-processing fees from an approved cancellation refund.

If The Buggy Barn is unable to ship an order within the timeframe represented at the time of purchase, the Customer will be notified and may either consent to the revised shipping timeframe or cancel the unshipped order for a full refund.

2. Returns of Standard Products

A standard, non-custom machine may be returned within fourteen (14) calendar days following delivery, subject to all of the following conditions:

  • The Customer obtains prior written return authorization from The Buggy Barn.
  • The machine has not been operated, driven, loaded, altered, registered, damaged, or exposed to outdoor conditions.
  • The machine remains complete and in resalable condition.
  • All keys, chargers, manuals, accessories, parts, and other materials supplied with the machine are included.
  • The machine is returned in its original packaging or in equivalent protective packaging approved by The Buggy Barn.
  • The return is tendered to the approved carrier within the required return period.

No restocking fee will apply to an approved return of a standard, non-custom machine.

Original shipping, delivery, and related transportation charges are nonrefundable. The Customer is responsible for return freight and any applicable packaging costs.

3. Returns of Custom or Modified Products

A custom, modified, personalized, or specially configured machine may be returned within fourteen (14) calendar days following delivery, subject to the same authorization, condition, completeness, and packaging requirements applicable to standard products.

Approved returns of custom or modified machines are subject to a fifteen percent (15%) restocking fee. The restocking fee will be calculated based on the purchase price of the machine and any customization or modification charges.

Original shipping, delivery, and related transportation charges are nonrefundable. The Customer is responsible for return freight and any applicable packaging costs.

4. Unused Condition Requirement

To qualify for a voluntary return, a machine must remain completely unused.

A machine will not be considered unused if it has been:

  • Driven or operated;
  • Used to carry, transport, push, pull, or tow any load;
  • Altered or modified after delivery;
  • Damaged;
  • Exposed to outdoor conditions;
  • Charged beyond what is reasonably necessary to inspect its condition at delivery; or
  • Otherwise placed into service.

Opening the packaging solely for inspection will not, by itself, make a product ineligible for return, provided all other requirements of this Policy are satisfied.

5. Return Authorization Procedure

All returns require prior written authorization from The Buggy Barn.

To request a return, the Customer must contact:

Email: support@buggybarnusa.com
Telephone: (715) 230-3121

The return request must include:

  • Customer name;
  • Order number;
  • Product model and serial number;
  • Reason for the requested return; and
  • Current photographs of the machine and packaging.

A return is not authorized until The Buggy Barn provides written approval and return instructions.

Following authorization, the Customer must tender the product to the carrier designated or approved by The Buggy Barn within ten (10) business days. A return authorization may expire if the product is not tendered within that period.

6. Return Freight and Packaging

The Buggy Barn will arrange freight transportation for approved equipment returns.

For voluntary returns, the actual cost of return freight will be deducted from the Customer’s refund.

The Customer is responsible for all costs associated with palletizing, crating, replacement packaging, protective materials, and other measures required to transport the product safely.

The Customer must preserve the condition of the product and comply with all packaging and loading instructions provided by The Buggy Barn.

7. Inspection and Refund Processing

All returned products are subject to inspection upon receipt.

Approved refunds will be issued within ten (10) business days after the returned product has been received and inspected.

Refunds will be issued only to the original payment method. Additional processing time imposed by the Customer’s financial institution or payment provider is outside The Buggy Barn’s control.

If the returned product has missing components, inadequate packaging, unauthorized alterations, damage, or any other condition that reduces its resale value, The Buggy Barn may deduct the actual documented reduction in value from the refund.

The Buggy Barn may reject a return that does not satisfy the requirements of this Policy.

8. Nonreturnable Items

The following items are nonreturnable unless they are defective, damaged in transit, or delivered incorrectly:

  • Installed accessories;
  • Used or opened replacement parts;
  • Electrical components;
  • Batteries;
  • Chargers;
  • Apparel or merchandise expressly identified as final sale; and
  • Special-order parts acquired specifically for an individual Customer.

This section does not limit any applicable warranty rights.

9. Freight Damage

Freight damage is not treated as a voluntary return.

The Customer is responsible for inspecting the shipment and visible portions of the product before signing the carrier’s delivery receipt.

If visible damage is present, the Customer should:

  • Photograph the product, packaging, pallet, and damaged areas;
  • Describe the damage specifically on the carrier’s delivery receipt before signing;
  • Retain all packaging and shipping materials; and
  • Notify The Buggy Barn within forty-eight (48) hours after delivery.

The notation “subject to inspection” alone may be insufficient to document visible freight damage. The visible condition should be described with reasonable specificity.

The Buggy Barn will review the available documentation and determine the appropriate remedy. Remedies may include replacement parts, repair, product replacement, or return of the product for a refund.

Confirmed freight-damage claims will not be subject to a restocking fee or Customer-paid return freight.

Failure to document visible damage at delivery may impair the ability to pursue recovery from the freight carrier.

10. Initial Defects, Missing Parts, and Incorrect Shipments

Any apparent defect, missing component, or material discrepancy between the delivered product and the confirmed order must be reported to The Buggy Barn within seven (7) calendar days after delivery.

The report must include:

  • The order number;
  • The product serial number;
  • A description of the issue; and
  • Relevant photographs or video.

At its discretion, The Buggy Barn may address the matter by:

  • Providing replacement parts;
  • Providing troubleshooting assistance;
  • Authorizing or arranging a repair;
  • Replacing the product; or
  • Accepting the product for return and issuing a refund.

After the seven-day inspection period, covered product failures will be handled under the applicable warranty policy.

11. Refused or Failed Deliveries

Carrier charges resulting from a refused or unsuccessful delivery will be reviewed on a case-by-case basis.

Such charges may include:

  • Redelivery fees;
  • Storage charges;
  • Address-correction fees;
  • Return freight;
  • Limited-access charges; and
  • Other carrier-imposed charges.

The Buggy Barn may charge the Customer for actual carrier costs when those costs result from circumstances within the Customer’s control, including:

  • Providing an incorrect or incomplete delivery address;
  • Failing to attend a scheduled delivery appointment;
  • Refusing an undamaged shipment;
  • Failing to disclose access restrictions; or
  • Failing to provide agreed-upon unloading equipment or assistance.

The Buggy Barn may waive some or all such charges in its discretion based on the circumstances.

12. Warranty Claims

This Policy is separate from the warranty applicable to the product.

A product does not need to qualify for return under the unused-product provisions of this Policy in order for the Customer to pursue a valid warranty claim.

Warranty coverage, exclusions, remedies, and claim procedures are governed by the applicable warranty documentation.

13. Administration of Policy

The Buggy Barn may verify order records, payment records, serial numbers, product condition, photographs, carrier documents, and other information reasonably necessary to administer a cancellation, return, freight claim, or refund.

The Buggy Barn reserves the right to deny any request that does not comply with this Policy.

Nothing in this Policy is intended to waive or limit any right or remedy that cannot lawfully be waived or limited.
